The sun is shining, the birdsong is lively, the wind is light and the surf is……… flat!
A great day for a paddle or a swim but not so much for surfing.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is throwing a bit of a moody one this morning with a veil of sea fog and murk lingering by the water’s edge.
The bay is still and silent, a peaceful stretch of surfless but pleasant enough calm.

Surf Forecast for Early May Bank Holiday Saturday

We might just see the first sign of almost rideable waves for a few days today.
The breeze is likely to remain from the east, offshore and the sun should continue to cheer us while a foot or, if we’re really lucky, two of smooth and pretty surf teases us into mind surfing something better.

Surf Conditions for the Holiday Weekend

Some waves are on the horizon at last, promising great conditions for this Bank Holiday Weekend.
The breeze is likely to gently ease onshore through Saturday afternoon, just lightly crumbling the tiny, one foot surf as it peaks and peels ashore.
By Sunday we should be enjoying a fun, two or maybe even three feet of still pleasantly shaped and fun, shortboardable surf as the breeze backs round to the south west through the afternoon. Not that you should notice it much, it should be barely a whisper.
But you might notice how overcast it could be on Sunday, a bit of a downer after the pleasantness of the working week’s weather, but acceptable if the surf improves.
And with a small but steady swell expected to roll our way on Bank Holiday Monday, hopefully unaffected by the lightest of onshore breezes, we should be able to enjoy a surfy snd mainly sunny, fun filled holiday weekend!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great holiday weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
