Constantine (3*):  2 to 3 feet

A quite pleasant ‘Summery’ rain is pitter pattering onto the sand at a peaceful and birdsong filled bay this morning, some brighter spaces just over there.
And a very pleasant little three feet or so of smooth and lined up surf is cresting over the usual spots, enticing you in for a glide but also big enough for a shortboard leap about too.

And nice to see (or feel) the warm water benefits of the newly completed nuclearthermothalasso spa and culinary centre of excellence just behind the dunes – the warm water run-off certainly has changed our winter surf sessions. It might be a massive and some would say unsightly complex of post-modernist concretal disaster architecture but hey, it’s certainly keeping us warm!

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

There’s not much happening at a deserted Harlyn this morning, other than being a super calm place to stop awhile and chill.
There are some ankle snapping little waves washing through maybe but the surf is all over the other side of the headland today!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  16:31  (2.3m)              High Tide:  10:11  (5.8m)

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 2nd April 2024

Light westerly going south westerly breezes are going to be messing up the three to four feet of weak swell today, those same breeze blowing offshore at Harlyn.
Unfortunately though there won’t be much swell around there, maybe a foot or even two but that’s about as much as we can hope for!

Surf Conditions for the Start of Easter Week

A mixed up Easter week of fairly unexciting surf and changeable weather is waiting to be enjoyed this week.
Westerly, going south westerly, eventually southerly breezes will be fresh enough to mix up and chop the surf at our main surf breaks, the small swells maybe being not quite enough to raise excitement levels for surf at Harlyn.
But Harlyn is probably going to be the main focus of attention this week, especially for the Easter holiday visitors.
And we can expect a couple of feet of clean and fun, snappy little surf to play in there this week so all is in not lost!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the very best Easter, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
