Constantine (3*):  2 to 3 feet

There is a lightness to the sky this morning but it’s dim and distant just yet.
In the meantime the lightest of north easterly breezes is chilling its way offshore to meet a couple to three feet of peaking and peeling, smooth faced little curlers as they spin their way across the bay.
The gloom and mizzle will soon lift and this solid little swell feels like it’s here for a while.

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

Harlyn feels a little sleepy this morning, an empty bay of surfless sea, that north easterly breeze almost onshore, the swell mainly passing by as the tide stretches to high.
All the surf is on the other side again today but as the day brightens up, maybe not until lunchtime, Harlyn will appeal to the more general beachgoers, dog walkers, swimmers and leftover visitors.

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Thursday 15th September 2022

We’ll feel a chill in the air today as a northerly breeze drifts down from those colder parts.
We should be able to enjoy a fun foot or two of okay surf, that warm water temperature probably feeling more comfortable than the air!
It’s probably going to be a damp one too!

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

Excitement mounts each year as the Summer doldrums ease away to be replaced by the open, rolling swells of Autumn. Those warm water September sessions are long awaited but rarely deliver our dreams. But this week could just actually see a roar of exquisite surf conditions all along our Cornish coast.
Offshore breezes are set to drift from the south east at the start of the week, manicuring to perfection the small to medium sized waves as they smoothly slide ashore. The wave period of those swells is likely to be in the high teens, reflecting the strength and energy that will be unleashed towards us.
The breeze is likely to ease more to the north as we end the week, bringing a fairly predictable end to a short lived but potentially excellent few days of perfect conditions.
Enjoy it while you can!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
