Constantine (1*):  4 to 6 feet

A west sou’ westerly breeze is quietly slopping out the four foot swell as it bounces into the bays this morning, busy birdsong laughing at another damp and grey morning.
But the sky is brightening, some of the set waves are pushing in way bigger than the others and so that late morning high tide could see some improvement.
In the meantime there’s always Harlyn!…..

Harlyn (3*):  3 feet

Waves are getting around and into Harlyn this morning but the tide is not long off low and so it’s a bit of a close-out celebration right now.
But the breeze is fairly light and is forecast to ease more directly offshore soon enough and the sky is brightening up and all those jobs that need doing before we’re ready for our Easter visitors in the shop can wait surely?
Yeah, I reckon give it an hour or two and it should be fun here today.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 19th March 2024

There’s likely to be a little boost to the swell today making for overhead surf at most breaks along this stretch of coast. And the breeze should be fairly light, from the South West through the morning, easing more southerly and maybe even south easterly through the afternoon.
We could just see some real good surf this afternoon.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Another mixed up week should provide plenty of surf but we’re going to have to work to get the beat out of it!
The week will start out with fairly lacklustre conditions with bigger and choppier west facing breaks vying for our attention against those cleaner but much smaller sheltered spots.
The south westerly wind to start the week will ease in strength as we go along and by midweek we might be enjoying a brief spell of very calm and offshore breezes. Make the most of these conditions as that wind will soon revert to a brisk (and chillier) north westerly breeze at the end of the week, strengthening as we go into the weekend.
But that’s a little way off just yet and in the meantime, if we keep our eyes on it, there should be a few quality surf sessions to enjoy before then!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the best week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
