Constantine (0*):  6 to 8 feet

A bitterly cold north westerly wind is howling ashore this morning, the gulls screeching in annoyance as they dive and glide across the chopped out surface of four or five feet of close together, grey swell. Add in those stinging, drenching rain showers and we have the makings of a real ‘no surf’ day today.
Luckily for them, the lifeguards have returned to a weekend only service so if you are thinking of giving it a go and aren’t really that experienced, then just bear in mind that you’re on your own if it all goes wrong!

Harlyn (1*):  3 to 4 feet

That cold north westerly wind is blasting into Harlyn this morning, battering and smashing the three or four feet of mixed up and messy waves.
It’s cold and wet and noisy and grey but it still has that ‘something’ that makes it a stimulating place to start the day.
There’s no surf to ride though.

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 16th April 2024

More howling north westerlies are going to be blowing out all of our surf breaks again today, turning them into unsurfable and wild places, best avoided unless you love being battered by large lumps of a mixed up and messy sea!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

And here we go again for another bumpy ride of weather as strong north westerly winds screech and howl their way into our bays and coves, dropping temperatures back to annoyingly chilly levels while destroying any surf that bounces our way.
That wind will start to calm through midweek, probably remaining onshore from the north west and probably remaining strong enough to junk out the smaller waves.
It might be well into the weekend before we see snatching to get exited about surfwise this week!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the very best week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
