Constantine (3*):  8 feet

Thick and heavy, wind hollowed and cavernous eight foot plus waves are roaring into the bays this morning, that wild and curving surf brooding in the perma-dark of a wet ‘n windy winter’s day.
That wind is forecast to blow harder as it swings westerly through this morning but right now it is having a delicious effect on those towering waves.
But I think we’d need a jetski?

Harlyn (0*):  3 to 5 feet

The screeching offshore wind is hollowing three to five feet of grinding and churning waves at a windswept and deserted Harlyn Bay on this dark and brooding morning.
Even bigger waves are very occasionally reeling down the headland, offering an alternative to those close-out caverns for the patient!
But that wind will soon power across from the west, so you might want to get on it if you’re keen!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 22nd November 2022

Another wet ‘n windy, wild kind of a day is aiming our way with towering waves but unfriendly north westerly winds.
And of course those drenching downpours!
You might have to travel today to find better conditions.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

A wild and windy time of it is promised for this coming week with gale to storm force winds blasting into our coastline throughout the week.
Mountainous waves are expected too but finding somewhere to ride those giants will take some effort.
Howling offshore winds will reward the earliest of earlybirds at the very start of the week but that will soon change as the wind veers westerly and ratchets up a good few knots through Monday morning. So even our sheltered spots will have big and bumpy conditions on offer for the keenest.
The wind will then carry units normal cycle of slipping north westerly and dropping temperatures for a day or so before settling to the west sou’ west for the remainder of the week.
Although the size of the surf is unlikely to drop much beneath the ten foot range all week long we are going to be struggling to find local breaks that can handle all that swell. But they do exist. And they are good when they get going!
So it could well be worth a little surf search this week with big rewards for finding that right spot at just the right stage of tide on just the right wind!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
