Yet another fabulous morning is kicking off the Summer Solstice for this year, the longest day and filled with sunshine and warm vibes. The breeze is light and offshore right now and will be that way until the sea breezes kick in at lunchtime. And with an air temperature of 20 deg C at 6.00 a.m., those of you who are already at Glastonbury are likely to be in for a bit of a shade and coolness hunt today!
But don’t worry, you’re not missing out on any surf, not today at least:
Barely a foot of weak and lifeless little waves are just about managing to wash ashore on this beautiful and cloudless mid-summer morning. Some of those tiny waves might be just about glideable on the longest of boards but maybe also ending up being a bit of fun if you do have a plank and you’re with the right friends!

The waves are absolutely flat here this morning, a slight ruffle of wash being the only movement in the sea this morning.
It is a beautiful place to be again but there is no surf here today. It might be good place to launch your SUP for a wonderful paddle though!

Onshore breezes are going to blow some windswell our way and that foot or two of windslop is as much as we can expect today. Those breezes are likely to quite quickly drift to the north west making for a fresher feel in the air too!
Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week
These gorgeous conditions seem to have established themselves with high pressure hanging close by for a few days yet.
The surf is likely to ease its way to tiny and then pretty much flat as we go into midweek but only very slowly.
So to start the week we are likely to be gliding across those curling faces of two to three foot waves, the sun shining and the lightest of offshore breezes just holding those waves taller than they might otherwise be!
Yep, it is looking like a fabulous start to another glorious week!
