Constantine (3*):  2 to 3 feet

Another gorgeous day is upon us as we bask beneath clear skies again this morning, that golden sun hopping over the horizon to warm up another chilly dawn start.
The air is still and calm as that same couple of feet of smooth and playful little swell glides into the bay, a deep high tide slowing and thickening those waves into something less snappy.
So you have an hour or two of cuddly time on this beautiful Bank Holiday morning before getting the best of it.
Those sea breezes will probably kick in again this afternoon though as the land warms up, so don’t leave it too long!

Harlyn (0*):  1 to 2 feet

Small but beautifully shaped little peaks are spilling off the high tide bank at Harlyn this morning, bigger than expected and all glassy and appealing. But I’m guessing that it is just a little high tide pulse that might very well disappear as the tide eases back.
But right now the air is still and clear, the sky bright and those waves are glassy and peeling and it’s all looking good!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 7th May 2019

We might see that bright and cheerful weather gradually disperse through today as a weather front approaches bringing something duller and damper.
But that same little swell should continue to quietly roll our way, the breeze strengthening but staying offshore, keeping those little waves hollow – as long as it doesn’t blow them flat!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Small but immaculate surf conditions will be easing us into this week, those perfect conditions of Monday and Tuesday slowly deteriorating as we hit midweek with the gradual return of onshore, north westerly winds.
So Bank Holiday Monday should be as pretty as a postcard with small but immaculate surf along with beautiful, if a little chilly weather.
Those conditions should carry us through Tuesday and into Wednesday when the wind wills tart to strengthen and back north westerly by the evening.
Then follows a couple of days of blown out surf, fresh winds and more mixed weather.
But the weekend is already starting to show some promise with more summer like conditions and pleasant enough surf!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
