Constantine (3*):  1 to 2 feet

Another fabulous sunrise is exploding across the far horizon to light up the bays again this morning with a light but chill early morning breeze gliding in from the south east.
There’s only a foot or so of turquoise surf to unsettle the otherwise glass smooth ocean but it is exquisite. Factor in some big, big tides and you might just want to go shuffling off in search of something suitable to glide across those beautiful little peelers!
Did I mention the sunshine?

Harlyn (1*):  0 to 1 foot

The sunrise at Harlyn as exquisite as a Laura Marling tune this morning, all lightness and beauty and sweet harmony.
There’s no surf of course, well nothing more than shin height to a small thing but everything else is a pretty as a picture!

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Saturday 17th October 2020

There might be a slower start to today but once the marine layer has sorted itself out we should be basking in more autumn sunshine with light offshore breezes continuing to groom the surf to something better than its one foot description suggests.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

A lazy weekend of small but offshore smoothed little waves should keep us occupied enough throughout this weekend.
We might just see some shower action as we go into Saturday as a couple of low pressure systems approach either end of the country and then by the start of next week one or the other is likely to be taking control! But before then we shouldn’t see much more than the odd shower or two.
The breeze is likely to continue to gust lightly from the east and south east, straight offshore at all of our preferred local surf breaks and while the surf is likely to be only small throughout the weekend, the wind is likely to hold those waves taller than they might otherwise be.
There should be just enough underlying little swell to make for some enjoyable sessions all weekend long.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
