At 6.50 a.m:

Constantine (0*):  Flat

A fresh easterly wind is whistling offshore this morning, flattening the turquoise sea almost completely.
The sky is a radiant blue and the sun has a brilliant shine as that sea of many blues lays tranquil, the odd teasing 6 inch ripple curling in the wind.
Maybe later on a longboard
Maybe.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The sand is swirling at Harlyn this morning as that hard blowing easterly wind sweeps across the bay, flattening and already calm sea.
The colours and brightness are beautiful but there’s no surf and you really wouldn’t want to go paddleboarding today – that’s a one way ticket to America if there ever was one!

Today’s Tide Times:

Low Tide:  09:33  (1.9m)              High Tide:  15:32  (6.0m)

Surf Forecast for Saturday 24th April 2021

We might, just might, see some small but immaculate little surf bravely fighting its way in against that hard blowing easterly wind today.
If there are any little waves to ride they will be at those breaks below little headlands and dunes where there’s at least some shelter.
It won’t be much bigger than shin to knee high though wherever you go.

Surf Conditions for the Rest of the Week

There is a chance that we might enjoy some small but fun and wind hollowed little waves this weekend but we’re going to have to pick just the right place at just the right stage of the tide to be in with any chance of finding any waves bigger than knee high to slide across.
Saturday is likely to be the windiest with a fresh easterly wind whistling offshore all day long.
But there is a little action happening out in the Atlantic and so we might see some tired little waves struggling in against the wind, especially on the incoming tide when those waves can trip over shallower sandbars.
If the wind calms through Sunday then we have the chance of enjoying some longboard sliding at our favourite spots, agin on the incoming tide and only if we’re lucky!
Otherwise we are in for a bright and sunny weekend with mainly clear skies above a rapidly warming sea.
Don’t forget to pack some sunscreen if you’re heading out this weekend though, that sun has a surprising bite to it at this time of year!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
