A fabulous morning is spreading its clear and cloudless cheer along the coastline today, the air still and mild, the sky blue and the sea an oilly smooth winter blue.
One or two guys are out already and enjoying a couple of feet of slow moving, low tide, glass walls with the occasional bigger one lumbering through.
I think that we could just be in for a fun-in-the sun day of surfing today!

It is pretty much flat here this morning, bright and cheery and calm and peaceful but pretty much surfless.

Today’s Tide Times:

Surf Forecast for Saturday 8th April 2017

A couple of feet of smooth and offshore breeze shaped, fun surf is likely to be spilling into our bays and coves all day long with loads of bright and cheerful sunshine tempting even the most deeply hibernating ones to reach for their board, wax and sunblock!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

High Pressure is taking control of the weather through the end of this week, allowing calm and peaceful conditions to settle over our bays.
And three feet of rolling swell should be gliding through the turquoise waters, groomed into smooth hollowness by light offshore breezes.
So on Friday and Saturday we should be enjoying surf-heaven conditions with three feet of smooth, glassy and peeling waves spinning into all of our favourite surf spots. Saturday should be much brighter and warmer but Friday will be okay too.
Although Sunday is likely to start out fine as well, the breeze will eventually be switching back to a north westerly by the afternoon.
And that is likely to be where it will remain through most of next week.
In the meantime, fabulous surf conditions and wonderful weather waits for us this weekend!
Have a great weekend wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
