Constantine (2*):  1 foot

A proper Autumn morning with a cloud spattered sky is giving way to more brightness as last night’s rain slips across the countryside to bother someone else.
The cool and chilling north easterly is lightly breezing down the coast just holding up the tiny one foot, maybe two foot waves as they search out a shallow bank to peel across. There is that wintery look to the water colour although the water temperature is still quite mild (15 deg C).
You might prefer a longboard or a softy today but it should end up being plenty of fun out there, especially as the sky continues to clear!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

That north easterly breeze, light as it is, is still pushing in onshore at Harlyn this morning, making for a sloppy old sea surface. But there’s only a small onshore wash sliding across the sand anyway, barely rideable even on the biggest of boards.
No, it is as always a fab place to be but there’s nothing in the way of surf at Harlyn today!

Surf Forecast for Tuesday 22nd October 2019

Those super light offshore breezes will continue today but now more from the south, a milder and drier direction.
So we can expect more tiny little waves to shimmy across, very prettily shaped by that offshore breeze, maybe going a little sloppier as the afternoon sea breeze effect kicks in.
A day of bright sunshine along with tiny but beautiful little surf lies in wait!

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

A calm and peaceful week lies ahead with the promise of fine weather, light offshore breezes, plenty of sunshine but only small surf.
It’s likely to be at least midweek before we see any surf bigger than tiny but conditions should stay clean and organised, allowing some longboard gliding or softboard shredding if you pick just the right moments.
As those little waves trip over the shallows and curl their way to the beach, the school half-term visitors should be loving life along with the Surf School learners and old school stylers.
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
