These lazy Summer days are continuing to delight us as yet another sky full of delight rises above us this morning.
The fields were full of that early morning mist first thing, quickly burned away by the bright sunshine of yet another beautiful and clear skied June morning.
But there’s still no surf!
There’s not a ripple out there and no sign of anything for later either.
So, swimming, SUPing, canoeing, skateboarding and lots of other stuff are going to take the place of wave riding again today!
Or simply chilling in the rays.
We have received our Pukas ’Inspiration Project’ Ts featuring an image of Toby (Donachie) taken by Cheyne and put together by those fine artisans at Pukas in Spain (they’re the guys that make boards for Mr Gabriel Medina) and they’re on the rails now!
Actually we have loads of new stuff hanging on the rails ready for this Summer’s visitors:
Summer wetsuits from O’Neill, Xcel and Alder are hanging alongside surf accessories from FCS and O&E while Reef flip flops are sat next to Vans beach and skate shoes. The newly launched Vissla range of clothes are alongside rails of Brixton Mfg, Captain Fin Co, Reef, Lost, Coastees and the newly inPassenger range as well as our our own Shop logo’d garments.
We have sunglasses from Bolle, Ray Ban and now the brand new dBlanc (and how great are they!) as well as EightyEight and Vision.
Time for a new board for Summer?
Then take your pick from our wide range of boards. We have longboards, short board, fun boards, soft boards, finless boards and all sorts! Al Merrick, Haydenshapes, Meyerhoffer, Sol Life, …Lost, Beach Beat, Hawaiian Soul and Webber, we should have something to suit!
And if we haven’t got it, we can get it!
So, drop in on us this week if you’re around the area!!

It’s a ripple bordered smooth flatness that’s here this morning. That tempting three inch border of ripples making you look twice, just in case that was a rideable wave.
But it’s not.
Not anywhere on this stretch of coastline!
Today’s Tide Times:
Low Tide: 09:20 (1.9m) High Tide: 15:19 (6.3m)
Surf Forecast for Tuesday 24th June 2014
More sun, more clear skies, more summer warmth.
But still no surf!
It’s another beautiful and warm and bright and pleasant day that waits us but it is likely to be as flat as it has been.
But that should change soon!
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
This week is lining up to be yet another sun drenched and glorious week of flatness.
Well, at least to start with that is.
We are going to be lucky to see any waves at all breaking along the length of the coast and really lucky to find any big enough to surf on!
It’s likely to be midweek before any little swells trickle our way. But as the wind eventually slides to the west then small, wind-carried little waves should start to lap our shores.
In the meantime there are all those flat day activities to keep us occupied!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
