Constantine (2*):  2 feet

A cooler and fresher morning is greeting us this morning, the sky bright enough, the wind gusting down from the north and the sun shining brightly.
And there’s a foot or two of lightly windswept but fun looking little surf bumping into the bay, that wind almost offshore.
So it’s all looking good for a bit of a surfy Saturday in some mixed sunshine and cloud.

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The dog walkers, joggers and strollers are out early at Harlyn this morning, making for a busier little beach for this time of day.
There’s no surf here though, other than tiny wind ripples caused by that brisk northerly wind.
But otherwise it’s a good enough place to spend some time with Fido or trot across the sand.

Surf Forecast for Sunday 14th July 2019

Light North Easterly breezes are likely to be blowing into the very small waves holding them taller than their size today.
We are going to have to time it well to get the best out of the surf today, maybe just ahead of high tide, or just on the turn at those low tide spots.
But if you have a decent longboard you should find some fun ones to glide across!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

We are expecting another fine weekend with small but fun surf and pleasant enough, getting better weather.
A close-fetch little swell is likely to be pushing a couple of feet of weakish but rideable surf our way through Saturday, the breeze drifting down from the north, hopefully easing slightly north easterly through the morning, more offshore at our better surf breaks.
So longboard gliding and fish flying is likely to be the order of the day in bright enough and summery enough conditions.
The breeze will be even calmer through Sunday, a light easterly breath of air lightly blowing against the real small surf.
Timing is going to be everything to get the most out of the surf today. Just at the right stage of tide at the right sandbank or reef or pointy thing, just at the right time and it should be fun, fun, fun. Or you might get skunked as you paddle out just as the tide fills in over your favourite break.
But there should be enough waves and weather to make it all good again this weekend!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you are doing!
