Another windswept, wet and grey day is only very slowly becoming less dark this morning.
The wind continues to howl from the west sou’ west, those squally blasts completely trashing the three to four feet of already chopped out and sloppy surf. There’s no lineup to aim for and only a very rippy way to get there if there was.
No, in spite of all those waves, there’s no surf here today!

Our hearts go out to our friends in Paris this morning.  Prenez soin de vous, mes amis!

Ah, the front row of the car park is already full, always an indicator that the surf should be at least okay!
The wind is offshore but there is still that high tide bump affecting conditions.
And there’s a bit of a wait between sets but when they do come in they are standing tall, three feet plus of curling whompers looking for some direction, only the odd one knowing which way to go. But they are the ones that are looking good!
Give it an hour or so and it should be cleaner and sharper.

Surf Forecast for Sunday 15th November 2015

South westerly winds are going to continue to blow hard throughout the day again, another pulse of thick and heavy swell pushing through as well.
Harlyn is one of the few options to surf today and that should be showing some size too!
Those other, super sheltered spots will be showing again, they might be the best places to seek out for a surf today!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Strong onshore winds have been dominating this week and look set to carry on through the weekend too!
After a brief switch to the west those hard blowing winds are likely to blast from the south west for the rest of the weekend.
And those winds are going to be blowing hard all weekend long, pushing more thick and heavy wintery swells our way all the time.
Locally, Harlyn is likely to be our venue of choice throughout the weekend and we can expect it to be getting into the big or even very big range for most of the time!
So, more sand-drenching stand up close-outs interspersed with a few screaming peelers awaits!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
