Constantine (2*):  6 to 8 feet

It’s neither windy nor raining this morning and what a change that makes! It’s hardly the crisp sunshine of a sharp winter’s morning but it’ll do!
And the surf is pumping too.
In fact it’s pumping a bit too much for Constantine with thick lumps of overhead waves washing around the bay looking for something to break off. But there’s just too much water swirling around to allow much shape to any of it.
If you’re super keen and fit enough then the paddle out will still be testing and the rides, though biggish, won’t be that rewarding. Certainly not when you think that there are a whole load of Point breaks, Reef breaks and even the odd Rivermouth break not too far away.
And, of course, there’s always Harlyn!……

Harlyn (4*):  3 to 4 feet

Harlyn is firing this morning. The dropping tide is pulling the bottoms out of a solid looking three to four feet of tubular swells as they swoop into the bay.
As always there are enough close-outs to make it testing but there are more than odd few zipping peelers to race too!
It’s all a little busy already though so make sure you have plenty of patience and seasonal tolerance with you as well!

Surf Forecast for Sunday 29th December 2019

A solid five foot plus swell is going to be pushing against a steady offshore, south easterly breeze all day long!
The major breaks should be appealing to the regular surfers while Harlyn will continue its broad appeal to everyone else!

Surf Conditions for the ‘twixtmas Weekend

Big and wind hollowed surf is likely to blow us into the weekend with solid six to eight feet and bigger swells crashing ashore against a very blustery south easterly wind. That should carry us through the weekend, the swell only slowly easing back through Sunday as the wind continues to hold those waves tall at our main breaks.
This could just turn out to be a bit of an epic weekend for surf and the weather might play ball too.
Pretty much every surf break on the Cornish coast will be firing up this weekend!
Have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
