Constantine (1*):  0 to 1 foot

A big, fat, golden sun is illuminating what promises to be a gorgeous morning on this stretch of sunny north cornwall coastline, the early morning haze gradually thinning to a milky blue sky while a light breeze drifts across the fields.
The surf is tiny, just rideable but real small, one foot or occasionally maybe just about almost two.
Grab the longboards and a big dollop of sunblock – it is small but it should be fun!

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

The surf is flat here this morning and the light north easterly breeze is still onshore here too, making that crumbly and ruffled surface on the sea.
It is a beautiful place for a stroll or a paddle but there’s no surf here today!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 19th April 2017

The bright and cheerful, super clean conditions are going to be wasted today with barely any swell to be found anywhere along this coast.
We might just get a fun longboard glide in at the swell magnet spots but even there we are looking at shin to knee high little gliders at best.

Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week

Small and weak little windswells have been plaguing us for the last week or so as North Westerly winds have blown their chill air our way, not doing much to support any little swells while ruining the wave shapes. And we will have to endure those conditions for at least another day or so until the wind changes.
But by Tuesday we should be seeing some much cleaner conditions, the wind having switched to the East and South East, offshore at all of our main breaks.
So, smooth and clean conditions can be expected through most of this week as the kids reluctantly shuffle back to school for exams, summer sports and other summer term shenanigans.
With bright and sunny conditions expected throughout the week we can look forward to some pleasant but chilly weather too!
And so it is a huge shame that there just isn’t going to be much around in the way of surf!
Small or tiny waves are going to be the most that we can hope for this week and even to find those we are going to have to watch the tides and charts and then hope for some luck too!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
