Constantine (4*): 3 to 4 feet
Bright skies, offshore breezes and solid waves are all there to cheer us up this morning!
For the first time in a long time a solid three feet plus of wrapping and curling swell is grinding its way to the high tide shore-dump beneath that sunlit sky.
Right now the tide is too high and HTC hasn’t quite got its act together, so give it an hour or two and then we can enjoy what is promising to be a fabulous day of proper surf along with some decent weather!
Harlyn (0*): 0 to 1 foot
Tiny ripples of immaculately shaped wavelets are peeling their way to the high tide shore this morning, those unrideable toy waves full of promise but just too small.
It is a beautiful place to be and, if the surf wasn’t so good over on the other side of the headland, it would be a fabulous place to hang out today, maybe splashing about on a SUP or something. But the surf is pumping over on the other side of the headland and so that’s the place to be today!
And don’t forget the sunblock!

Surf Forecast for Wednesday 23rd August 2017
The steady three feet or so of swell that is pulsing through this morning is going to be slopped and chopped by a steady westerly breeze all day today.
Throw in a few unwelcome showers and lower air temperatures and we are back to this more normal August for 2017.
It has been a little disappointing hasn’t it!?
Surf Conditions for the Start of the Week
Light breezes should allow some pleasant summer sunshine through this week, the wind being forecast to be no more than a light breeze all the way through the week. By Tuesday we might even see some bright, bright sunshine with a light offshore breeze along with a couple of feet or so of curling glass waves too!
And that couple of feet or so of fun little surf should keep rolling our way all through this coming week, the weather being a bit better than it has been, the surf being enough to keep most of us happy!
Have a great week, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
