Constantine (2*):  4 to 6 feet

A magnificent golden moon was floating above the ocean first thing this morning and now that has been replaced by a milky white sky, some late winter brilliant sunshine and the roar of a pumping, wild swell.
The air is calm as the lightest of breezes drifts in from the west, barely noticeable after the last how long’s blowhards but fresh enough to warp and shake the four to six foot swell.
It looks rippy and difficult out there but if you’re up to speed with your surf-fitness, timing and experience and know just the right place to go at just the right time, you could end up having a fabulously great session…. or two!

Harlyn (2*):  3 to 4 feet

All is quiet at Harlyn this morning as three feet and bigger of dark and warpy surf thumps down hard onto that firm sand.
The tide is totally wrong right now and the breeze, as light as it is, is drifting across the bay rather than off from it. But even so, it does look inviting!

Forecast for 26th February 2021

We can expect a thick and even four foot swell to be roaring into the bays today as the wind settles to barely a breeze.
With bright sunshine expected for most of the day and a late morning low tide, we can expect a very pleasant afternoon at most of our favourite local surf spots today.

Conditions for the Weekend

High pressure is easing its way above us for this penultimate lockdown weekend, promising calm winds, bright skies and pumping surf!
With deep and active low pressure systems lurking out in the Atlantic we can expect more thick and wintery groundswells to be driving onto our shores throughout the weekend, six to eight feet of powerful surf pounding our way throughout Saturday, dropping only slightly through Sunday.
Saturday is probably going to be a little more testing with much smoother conditions everywhere for Sunday.
But remember, we are still in lockdown, so if you have to travel for it, well,  maybe you shouldn’t?
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
