Constantine (1*):  3 to 4 feet

It’s another one of those grey and breezy starts again today but there’s a hint of brightness out there teasing that there might be better later.
Otherwise, a stiff south westerly breeze is chopping upthrew to four feet of grey and loose moving surf.
Let’s have a look over the headland……

Oh, we are clearing out a bit of stock this weekend as our pre-easter deliveries start arriving so we’ll be having a FLASH SALE to empty a few rails. Some of our wetsuits will be HALF-PRICE, loads of older wetsuit boots at GIVEAWAY PRICES, our boards will have £150 OFF and there’s some clothing going CHEAP!
This is for shop visitors only!
We’ll be open 10.30 – 4 Saturday and Sunday!

Harlyn (2*):  1 to 2 feet

The south westerly breeze is drifting offshore at Harlyn this morning, a couple of feet or so of surf prettily peaking (for Harlyn) just ahead of high tide.
It’s a pleasant place to be this morning and gliding across a couple of those set waves would only add to it!

Surf Forecast for Saturday 16th March 2024

A more southerly breeze, maybe swinging a little to the south east for a while through midmorning, should clean up the four foot swell as it tumbles through the morning high tide.
The breeze wills soon return to a more southerly direction for the rest of the day, putting a bit of slop into the surf at Constantine and other spots, making a much cleaner Harlyn become an option.
There should be enough fun to be had for everyone today though.

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

An okay weekend awaits us as the breeze backs to the south through Saturday, easing more south westerly for Sunday.
Our main breaks will provide some fun and testing conditions at our better surf breaks, maybe getting really good during mid morning, bumping and slopping a bit as the day goes on.
That always offers the deceision as to whether to pop over to Harlyn for cleaner but much smaller surf or stay on the west side of the headland for some sloppier but bigger stuff.
And that decision is going to be more pronounced through Sunday as the breeze drifts more to the south west, onshore at Constantine and booby’s but offshore at Harlyn.
Still, it’s nice to have a choice isn’t it!
The weather will be mixed but should end up staying mainly dry.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the best weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
