Constantine (1*):  4 feet

It’s a damp and grey, cold and breezy one this morning, the surf bundling through at four or five feet but a real messy and uninviting four or five feet.
If you want some clean waves today you’re going to have to travel – and there’ll be no guarantee of finding anything much then!

Harlyn (1*):  3 to 4 feet

The wind is whistling in onshore at an otherwise quiet and empty Harlyn Bay this morning, the surf bouncing and lumping onto sand.
With rain squalls driving across the bay and colder temperatures, it’s not the most tempting.
If you’re desperate there might be something in the corner later but….. Ho hum.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 23rd March 2024

North westerly winds will be trashing the 6 to 8 feet of junk surf while dropping temperatures offering not much to surf on anywhere along this stretch of coastline.
It looks like we’re going to have to look further afield if we want some clean conditions to surf on today!

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

We’re going to have to wait until the end of the weekend for any hope of clean waves to surf along this stretch of the coast.
North westerly winds will cool things down through Saturday and well into Sunday, veering quickly to the south west through Sunday afternoon and we all know that those North westerly winds are onshore at all of our local surf breaks while South Westerly winds blow offshore at breaks like Harlyn.
The peak of the swell will pass on Saturday dropping the size of the surf from six to eight feet at our main breaks to maybe four feet by Sunday.
So Harlyn could well provide some fun three foot surf as we go towards high tide in the afternoon.
If you’re really keen for clean surf, it may be worth the haul over to the other coast, otherwise it’s just the alternative of junked out mushy stuff locally.
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have the best weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
