Constantine (0*):  0 to 1 foot

A damp morning is quickly giving way to something brighter down in the bays, that early morning greyness gradually becoming blue as a sunburst dawn settles over the far horizon.
And a frustratingly tiny swell is snapping at the shore, six inches to a foot of silky smooth and glassy little ripples teasing and beckoning.
Maybe later?

Harlyn (0*):  Flat

Harlyn is bustling with dog walkers, swimmers, kayakers and SUPs this morning, well, there’s a handful of each anyway.
And it is beautiful, the smooth glass of the sea reflecting the clearing blueness of the sky as the dawn sun pierces down the valley.
The surf is as flat as a tack though.

Surf Forecast for Saturday 3rd September 2022

A southerly breeze will start to blow a foot or two of choppy little waves our way today, while shepherding the few straggler summer visitors towards the motorway.
We are likely to see a shower or two today as well, maybe strengthening for a while later.
A proper end to the summer season I think?

Surf Conditions for the Weekend

Low pressure is likely to bump along our coast this weekend, bringing damper conditions, fresh breezes and maybe, some better waves.
Southerly winds are likely to shuffle a couple of feet of close together and mixed up little waves our way through Saturday, that wind maybe twitching just a degree or two to the east through Sunday to provide something a little cleaner maybe. But that low pressure system could yet veer to either side and that would effect conditions a lot.
It’s probably safer to assume that we are probably going to end up enjoying a breezy weekend of fairly mushy two to three foot surf with some showery weather.
But there is that chance of brighter skies in between and small but cleaner waves to glide across!
We’ll just have to wait and see how it all works out this weekend!
Stay safe, stay happy, stay well and have a great weekend, wherever you are and whatever you’re doing!
